ADC Dental Group Welcomes William D. Burch, DDS 

to ADC of Springfield

Springfield, Missouri – Dr. John C. Durling II, Dr. Julia Skidmore, and the staff of ADC Dental Group, headquartered in Joplin, are pleased to announce the addition of William D. Burch, DDS, to ADC of Springfield, located at 2104 W. Chesterfield Blvd.  Dr. Burch is currently seeing patients in the facility on Monday and Tuesday of each week, and Dr. Durling, who has been the primary dentist at ADC of Springfield, will continue providing Invisalign services by appointment.  

“I am excited for the future of ADC of Springfield. With the addition of Dr. Burch, our general dentistry services can expand rapidly. With his wide range of experiences in general dentistry, not to mention his experience with same-day crown services, we will be able to meet the needs of Springfield and surrounding communities,” Dr. Durling said. “We will also be able to better meet the demand for Invisalign services, which continues to grow in popularity with teens and adults alike.”

Dr. Burch is excited to be joining the ADC family. “Dr. Durling and ADC have been one of the most modern, progressive, yet patient friendly practices I have had the pleasure of working with.  They are committed to the communities they serve, as am I.  They treat patients and their dental needs as if they were their own family.”

Dr. Burch grew up in Butler, Mo, attended the University of Mo and UMKC School of Dentistry, graduating in 1978.  He lived and practiced dentistry in Neosho for 30 years.  In 2008, he sold his Neosho practice and worked part time for the new owner while also helping area dentists when they needed extra help. He also has over 10 years experience with cad-cam technology and is offering same-day crown placement.

“We have the technology and ability to make crowns in the office for patients, thereby eliminating gooey impressions, temporary crowns, and having the patient return weeks later to be made numb again to place their permanent crown,” Dr. Burch said.  “With this same cad-cam technology we can also do more conservative onlays and cosmetic veneers on a same day basis.”

ADC offers a full spectrum of general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Burch has years of experience treating the full spectrum of ages. Recognizing that kids and adults have different needs and priorities, Dr. Burch is looking forward to making the dental experience more enjoyable for everyone.

Dr. Julia Skidmore Named Partner at ADC Dental Group of Joplin

Springfield, Missouri –ADC Dental Group headquartered in Joplin, is pleased to announce that Dr. Julia Skidmore has bought into their ADC Dental Group in Joplin, and has been named a partner in the practice. Dr. John Durling, ADC Dental Group’s owner is pleased to have her further involvement with the practice, and is looking forward to an excellent working partnership. 

“In the two years she’s been here, she has been a major contributor to the dental community and a very active member in the community as a whole,” Dr. Durling said. “Her warm, caring approach to treating our patients has made her a natural choice for a business partner. I am very excited about her future with ADC Dental Group as well as her growing relationship with our community.”

“Dr. Durling and the entire staff are just an amazing group of people to be involved with,” Dr. Skidmore added. “This practice is of such high caliber that it is an easy transition. Great technology, beautiful building, an amazing staff, you name it, ADC Dental Group has it.”

Julia graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry, where she achieved success by receiving honors from the Prosthodontics department and national recognition for public health. Julia's thirst for knowledge continued after graduating and she went on to become certified as an Invisalign provider, Lumineers provider, and she has also been recognized by Consumer Report's Top Dentists in America Award and Cambridge's Who's Who Recognition. 

In regards to continuing her work in the Joplin area, Julia couldn’t be happier. “ADC Dental Group and our patients are my family. Everyone at that office means so much to me that I am honored to commit to them. Dr. Durling and I compliment one another in our strengths and I truly respect his clinical skills and the way that he treats his patients. I couldn’t have found a facility that represented me better, and I want everyone to know that I want to be here and intend to stay. We have such wonderful people coming in and out of our practice every day and I want to continue to provide them with the best quality dental care available.”
